Unless otherwise required by contract or law, each of the procedures offered by Media Mediation are voluntary. Those participating can withdraw from the process at any time.
Each of the methods described briefly below can be deployed in stages to resolve a dispute.
Facilitative Mediation
Our mediator will take a wholly neutral position, faciltating communication between people in dispute so they can find a way to resolve their differences themselves.
Evaluative Mediation
Our mediator will evaluate the positions of the people in dispute, and share their own opinions, such as about matters of fairness, and suggest ways for the dispute to be resolved.
Expert Determination
After receiving communications from the people in dispute, the expert will make a simple determination – either with or without reasons – which will be a final and binding.
